Lewi Dawson – Support Worker

I support NDIS participants who are looking to improve their quality of life whether that be through mentoring, everyday support, transport, access to the community etc.
I specialise working with children who have diagnosed ASD, ADHD, intellectual disabilities etc. I have all the required documents needed to work with children and all the correct documentation/requirements needed to be a support worker.
My work experience includes: SSO in primary school, OSHC Educator, Youth Worker and now Disability Support Worker. Currently I work with an organisation as well as going independent. Eventually I wish to be completely independent once I'm able to.
I also hold importance to those who are in marginalised communities such as people of colour, LGBTQIA+, people of a lower social economic status etc. I am also part of the LGBTQIA+ community so I can offer special support as someone who also knows and understands the many struggles of being a queer person.
